Brunel University Project
Motion Design
The Parasite title sequence project was an exciting opportunity for me to dive into cinematic storytelling through motion graphics. With a focus on themes of social dynamics, deception, and class disparity, I sought to bring the film’s rich narrative to life with a visually impactful opening sequence. Using Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I created a sequence that integrates atmospheric elements like thunder, rain, and symbolic imagery such as the basement and peaches—each chosen for their deep connection to the film’s themes. By analyzing the film’s visual motifs and understanding its story, I was able to craft a title sequence that sets the tone for Parasite, inviting viewers into its world of tension and complexity from the very first frame.
